How to raise a concern
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or experience with The Whole You Dietitian, I want to hear from you and put things right wherever possible.
Step 1 — Contact me directly
Email info@thewholeyoudietitian.co.uk with details of your concern. I aim to acknowledge all complaints within 3 working days.
Step 2 — Review
I will review your concern carefully, which may involve looking back over consultation notes and correspondence. I aim to respond in full within 14 working days. If more time is needed, I will let you know why and give a revised timeframe.
Step 3 — Resolution
I will explain what happened, what I have concluded, and any action I am taking as a result. This may include an apology, a change to how I work, or, where appropriate, a partial or full refund.
If you remain unsatisfied
If you are not satisfied with my response, or if your concern relates to my fitness to practise or professional conduct, you have the right to raise it with:
- The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) — hcpc-uk.org — for concerns about professional fitness to practise
- The British Dietetic Association (BDA) — bda.uk.com — as my professional body
- The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk — for concerns specifically about data protection
Commitment
Raising a complaint will never affect the quality of care or service you receive from me, either now or in the future.
